For Christmas at Bute Park in Cardiff, we designed and built a collection of custom 2.5-metre pixel Christmas trees, forming part of the illuminated trail through Bute Park.
Each tree features individually controllable pixels, allowing us to create dynamic effects, patterns and sequences synchronised across the installation. From design and fabrication through to programming and installation, the trees were produced as a complete bespoke lighting feature.
Installed outdoors for the duration of the event, the system was designed to withstand the demands of a busy winter event while delivering a colourful and eye-catching addition to the trail.
